Nairobi – Isiolo: Good tar road
Isiolo – Moyale: Tar; at Km 143: 40 Km good piste, some corrugation; tar; at Km 235: 35 km piste until Marsabit; good tar until last 40 km before Moyale
Moyale – Awassa: one third new tarmac, one third potholes, one third piste / deviation for construction work
Awassa – Djibouti: Tar, heavy truck traffic
